Hobby
Windsurfing is great fun. I’ve been windsurfing for decades now!!! If you know the history of windsurfing equipment, you know what kind of boards and especially sails I had to use in the beginning of windsurfing. I've visited several great sailing places in Europe (South France, Korsika, Northern Italy and St. Moritz(CH)), Egypt (Dahab), the Caribbean Islands (Cabarate in the Dominican Republic), and in the US (Maui, Oahu and Hood River in the Columbia River Gorge). There are a few pictures of mine below while speeding and jibing. Below some pictures of me getting air for an aerial-jibe and on the way to the 360. Currently I'm working on the forward (speed-)loop. I finally got at least the courage to try it, so far however, it has mainly thrown me on my back. I am also inline-skating for quite some time now, did a marathon and even successfully tried the halfl-pipe.
My newest windsurf board is a Roberto Ricci Design model Avantstyle which is great for freestyle surfing. The board is 260x61cm big and has a volume of 105l at 6.9Kg weight which makes this one of the ultimate freestyle boards currently available. It's built in custom glass/wood sandwich technology and comes with a Maui Company 30cm fin
My other favorite board when it blows hard is the F2 Wave255 shown here which is 255cm and has only 82l volume. This board is simply unbreakable and extremely reliable in rough conditions. It handles extremely well under almost any condition, it jibes very smooth and is great for jumping.
